I installed Ubuntu 8.04. Now what?

Well Ubuntu 8.10's Nautilus stopped handling Trash and Network locations, so I tried to install Linux Mint Xfce edition. I read a few days ago at DistroWatch.com about this release and thought, hey, I'll give it a shot. I guess it's supposed to be just like Ubuntu but with all the video and other codecs already installed.

Unfortunately it didn't work. And the only CD I had laying around was Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. So here goes...

First thing I did was Install the 348 updates from the Update Manager. This is the orange arrow in the top panel.

Next up, theming Gnome!
